Job Description

The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is required to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing infusion therapy, primarily supporting the non-chemotherapy patient population. The role includes the administration of IV therapy for patients with various diagnoses and managing patient care during treatment. Experience in inpatient or outpatient oncology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer phlebotomy, Reclast/Zometa infusions, and various injections including Zoladex and Lupron.
• Perform port flushes and manage iron infusions.
• Occasionally provide hydration treatments and assist in rare genetic testing and liquid biopsy procedures.
• Monitor patients for reactions and complexities during therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, specifically in infusion.
• CRNI certification is required.
• BLS certification necessary.
• Experience caring for patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses is preferred.
