How does travel nursing work?Travel nursing is a career path where registered nurses (RNs) take temporary assignments-usually lasting from a few weeks to several months-at healthcare facilities experiencing staffing shortages or increased patient demand. These positions are often facilitated through staffing agencies, like ARMS, that match nurses with hospitals or clinics in need of short-term help.
Why should I become a travel nurse?Travel nursing offers a unique opportunity to grow your career while exploring new places. You’ll often earn higher pay than staff positions, including tax-free stipends for housing and meals. It’s also a great way to gain diverse clinical experience, build your resume, and enjoy the adventure along the way.
