Day shift, variable start times between 7 AM, 9 AM, or 3 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Services RN to join our team for the winter season. The successful candidate will have strong orthopedic experience and the ability to float between Healdsburg and Santa Rosa Memorial as needed. The role requires proficiency in various surgical procedures and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in various surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety and health protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and interdisciplinary support staff.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge nurse experience in a surgical setting.
• Strong orthopedic and surgical skills, especially in managing complex cases.
• Valid compact RN license required at submission.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
