Registered Nurse - EP Lab & Cardiac Cath Lab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift - Will work 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 4:30 PM; must be okay to stay until the last patient is cared for. No call or weekend coverage required.

Job Description

This position requires expertise in EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in advanced cardiovascular treatments in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of clinical tasks, and ensuring patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex coronary procedures and advanced cardiovascular interventions.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as needed.
• Perform procedures including pacemaker insertion, ablations, and more.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Must hold an active PA or Compact nursing license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
