Schedule

Day shift - either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM to 7 PM, including weekends as needed.

Job Description

The Invasive Cardiology RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment. The unit is equipped with dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and Electrophysiology Labs, facilitating advanced treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management processes.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions during procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations with a prompt and effective approach.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system is preferred.
• Availability to remain until the last patient is cared for and adhere to call requirements with a 30-minute response time.
