Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Night shifts (4x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

Join an established team in a large volume, high census facility specializing in high-risk obstetric care. Ideal candidates will have significant experience with postpartum care and be able to manage a diverse patient population following delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric care to postpartum patients.
• Manage postpartum treatments following delivery.
• Handle medication administration, including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate therapy.
• Monitor patients for postpartum hemorrhage and other complications.
• Assist in the management of couplets, including floating between facilities when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care.
• Current BLS & NRP certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Ability to manage care for multiple couplets standard in the unit.
• Familiarity with substance withdrawal scenarios is preferred.
