Postpartum Registered Nurse - Travel Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are available in either a 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedule, with a day shift from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Postpartum Registered Nurses for a travel contract focused on high-risk obstetric care. This facility has a diverse patient population with high-volume and high-census cases. The candidates will provide critical postpartum treatment following delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for postpartum patients, including those with high-risk complications.
• Administer medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin.
• Provide care for postpartum hemorrhage, including necessary interventions.
• Handle patient censuses that may involve managing multiple couplets of care.
• Support patients undergoing substance withdrawal as part of postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care.
• Valid Compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP are required.
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
