Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

Join our fast-paced Medical ICU, providing critical care for a diverse patient population including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failures, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. This unit consists of 30 beds, requiring dedicated and experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a critical care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize and manage ventilators and other advanced medical equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to modify patient care plans as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RN licensure in the state of practice.
