Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 days a week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU team. This fast-paced unit specializes in critical care for a diverse patient population, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failures, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, and substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and manage ventilation support as well as other critical care equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care in medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
