Job Description

Join our fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that specializes in caring for patients with a range of critical conditions, including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. This unit is designed for nurses who are equipped to handle complex patient cases and thrive in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions consistently.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage ventilators and other complex medical equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Medical ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience with ventilators and intravenous medication administration.
