7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with a requirement of 12 shifts per month, including 4 weekend shifts.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the CSSU unit, equipped to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced cardiovascular and vascular surgery specialty environment. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced telemetry skills and exhibit proficiency in titrating vasoactive medications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using GE Monitors.
• Administer vasoactive medications such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine.
• Conduct pre-operative preparations for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Perform chest tube and arterial line removals.
• Document patient care in the Meditech Expanse system.
• Update MyCare boards during bedside shift reports to enhance patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong telemetry experience.
• Experience with temporary pacing and chest tube management preferred.
