Job Description

Join our dynamic CSSU unit as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide care in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 2 Trauma Center. This specialized unit supports cardiovascular and vascular surgery with a focus on telemetry and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients using GE monitors and central monitoring systems.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications, including levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine.
• Perform procedures such as temporary pacing, chest tube removal, and arterial line removal.
• Provide pre-operative preparation for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with a mobility team and support patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Strong telemetry skills with experience in vasoactive medication titration.
• Preferred experience with chest tubes and arterial lines.
