Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and may involve floating between units, including mother-baby care. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery, including both low-risk and high-risk cases
• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Educate patients and families on care and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred)
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Preferred: Previous charge nurse experience
