Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery RN will provide care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child. The role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vaginal exams and monitor fetal heart rates.
• Provide immediate care to newborns in the delivery room.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must possess current RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced, Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience with a range of birth experiences, from 300 births.
