Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Neuro Trauma

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit, where you will provide exceptional care for patients. The unit features 23 beds and is supported by a compassionate team of 9 staff professionals, including RNs and aides.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients using bedside monitors and high-flow chronic ventilation systems.
• Administer medication and treatment as per established protocols.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube placement and EEGs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Telemetry step-down experience.
• Required: ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Preferred: Neuro and trauma experience; NHISS and TNCC certifications.
