ICU Registered Nurse - Trauma, Surgical, and Neurological Patients

This position requires a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift, with 48 hours per week being accepted.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide care for trauma, surgical, and neurological patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and must have previous travel experience, along with a proven track record in high-acuity environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Document all nursing care provided and patient responses accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU.
• Must have Trauma Level One experience.
• Valid RN license and active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Competency test completion required within 24 hours of submission.
