Travel RN - Med Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, adhere to safety and quality standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care following established nursing protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with daily living activities and patient education.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact or AL RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of Med Surg experience required.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Patient Ratio

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6 to 1.
