Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using EHR.
• Participate in patient education and support initiatives to enhance understanding of health management strategies.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating shift schedule with weekly orientations every Monday. Hours are from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), specifically Meditech.
