Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg unit, providing quality care to patients with various diagnoses, including those on ventilators and orthopedic cases. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of care while managing a patient ratio of 1:9, supported by PCA techs on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care plans in the EPIC system.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current NY RN License.
• BLS Certification required.
• COVID Vaccination required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
