Rotating shifts - Day: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry to provide exceptional patient care in our unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population primarily focused on respiratory and cardiac conditions, ensuring effective monitoring and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patients.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
• Provide care for patients with various cardiac conditions and respiratory issues.
• Oversee patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid PA or Compact RN license in hand.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, particularly in telemetry.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
• Ability to float to different units as needed.
