Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry Float

This is a Night 3x12-Hour shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring weekend coverage every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this float position will primarily provide care for Medical Surgical Telemetry patients. This role requires effective collaboration and communication within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs and ensure high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and other acute conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize critical thinking in emergency situations and respond effectively.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans with nursing teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, with 2 years preferred.
• Active RN license; ACLS certification preferred and BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and managing diverse patient populations.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
