Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetrics

Schedule

Night shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in High Risk Obstetrics to join our team. The nurse will provide postpartum care to patients following delivery in a high-volume facility with a diverse patient population. The role will include managing a high acuity unit and handling potentially complex scenarios, including managing an increase in patient census.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and their families.
• Monitor and manage patients who may experience postpartum hemorrhage or substance withdrawal.
• Administer medications including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin as needed.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for patient documentation and care management.
• Conduct patient assessments and coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in High Risk Obstetric nursing.
• Active compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Experience with high acuity patients and postpartum care.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Ability to float between Issaquah Campus and Edmonds Campus as needed.
