Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Requires every other weekend coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have a current New York nursing license and will be expected to float between units as needed. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to manage complex critically ill patients and ensure a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the ICU, including monitoring vitals and administering medications.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and IVs, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Conduct phlebotomy and obtain 12 lead EKGs/ECGs.
• Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
• Current New York State RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous charge nurse experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a hard requirement.
