Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in newborn care, including but not limited to assessments, vital signs, glucose screening, baths, complex feeds, and phototherapy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Administer medications including magnesium and insulin infusions.
• Provide patient education on breastfeeding and postpartum care.
• Conduct newborn assessments and screenings.
• Perform complex feeding techniques and manage phototherapy sessions.
• Attend to the needs of patients with varying conditions and complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a postpartum or related setting.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
• Must be skilled in managing magnesium, insulin, PCA/PCEA, and heparin infusions.
