Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care. The unit is a Level II Trauma Center with 38 beds, handling a diverse range of patient cases including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients. Our facility is equipped to manage complex procedures and provide high-level care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a mixed ICU setting.
• Monitor and manage post-operative patients, including those recovering from open-heart surgery.
• Conduct bedside procedures, including bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion, and arterial and central line insertions.
• Perform frequent drip titrations and airway care.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current ICU hospital experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech and CVICU/CTICU preferred.
