Registered Nurse - LTAC MS/Tele

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x12-Hour shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Weekends are supported by a rotational call between 6 to 8 staff members.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. This role requires a strong background in neuro and critical care nursing to provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an LTAC setting.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage complex wound care, and provide tracheostomy care/management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support patients and families with education and resources relevant to their care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in MS/Tele nursing required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• LTAC experience is preferred, along with experience in neuro care.
• Experience with EPIC EMR for at least one year is required.
