Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. If your traveler starts on specific dates in September, a standard rate will apply until early October, at which point the seasonal rate takes effect. Candidates will not be required to be on-call but may float to postpartum if necessary. Responsibilities include fetal heart monitoring, high risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum couplet care if staffing allows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.
• Conduct fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring.
• Provide couplet care for mother and newborn postpartum.
• Float to postpartum when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced, or NCC EFM; ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.
• Must possess a valid Compact RN license.
• No first-timers accepted; travel experience required.
