ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be comfortable working in a high-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in the intensive care unit, particularly those with neurological and cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and responsiveness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as CRRT and Prismaflex.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and family support.
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and surgeries.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred.
• Current NY RN license and all active RN licenses.
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is essential.
• Travel experience is required.
• Skills checklist matching specialty is required.
