Registered Nurse - ICU - Trauma, Surgical, Neurological

This position requires work from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, offering a flexible 48-hour work week option.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for trauma, surgical, and neurological patients. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years of ICU experience and have previous travel nursing experience. The role necessitates the ability to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient condition constantly, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document all patient care activities and ensure accurate recording of patient information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological care.
• Trauma Level One experience is mandatory.
• Current RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Epic experience is essential.
