Radiation Therapist - Day Shift

Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. This position primarily involves working with adult patients in a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with various radiation therapy modalities and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to adult patients.
• Perform simulation and treatment planning, including CT simulations and developing custom molds.
• Assist in interstitial administration and brachytherapy procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System.
• Participate in emergency cases and provide support for Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• State licensure in Texas (must have compact license at submission).
• Experience with Elekta linear accelerators and imaging systems preferred.
