Interventional Radiology Tech

Schedule

Day Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (07:30 - 18:00) with rotating day off.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Tech will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and aiding in the efficiency of the interventional radiology department. The role requires hands-on experience with specific types of vascular access and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and PE thrombectomy procedures.
• Assist in a variety of interventional radiology cases including, but not limited to, Y90 implants, trauma embolizations, and TIPS.
• Maintain and ensure proper use of radiation safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiology tech.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• SCQRSA certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred.
