Special Procedures Radiology Technologist

Schedule

This position offers a 4x10-hour shift schedule, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential late shifts based on unit needs. Flexible on-call requirements, approximately 8 times per month, may be necessary.

Job Description

The Special Procedures Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing advanced radiologic procedures within a high-acuity environment. The role requires expertise in hybrid OR and extensive endovascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform endovascular procedures including FEVAR, PME, GEVAR, TEVAR, AAA, TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs.
• Utilize Zeego and Pheno equipment with over one year of hands-on experience.
• Operate and troubleshoot hybrid Siemens advanced vascular equipment, including knowledge of PACS and Siemens Portable C-Arms.
• Effectively chart using the EPIC system and manage vascular supplies and equipment.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on endovascular procedures.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification are required.
• Experience with specific radiology tools and technologies, such as Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hybrid operating room settings and ability to work under pressure.
