Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday. Varied 8-hour shifts starting from 7am to 9am. On-call coverage begins after hours and rotates between 6 to 8 staff members.

Job Description

This role is for a skilled technologist in a Neuro Interventional Radiology Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The candidate will perform a variety of procedures including Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting, along with port placements, PICC placements, and dialysis catheter placements.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro interventional radiology procedures on patients across various age groups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Manage patient care through accurate assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
• Utilize specialized equipment and maintain safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT R, ARRT VI (Preferred), BLS certification.
• Current South Carolina Radiography State License.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
