Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-op, Postop, and PACU units. The ideal candidate will have experience in various specialties including ENT, General, Orthopedic, GYN, OB, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Cath Lab. The nurse will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
• Monitor patients in the PACU and assess their recovery.
• Assist with the implementation of care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred, especially in Pre-op and PACU.
• IV skills and experience with various surgical specialties are highly desirable.
