Outpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM, Friday: 8 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours total)

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. They play a critical role in overseeing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the creation of effective treatment programs that facilitate a return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document care thoroughly and accurately in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and support.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue continuing education.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards and state practice acts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
