40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directions. The therapist is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. The role also involves educating patients, families, students, and coworkers while performing other professional duties associated with patient care and the development of therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient discharge within an established length of stay.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and completing evaluations.
• Create and actively pursue a professional development plan with clinical management.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active licensure for the state where work will be performed.
• Previous experience with this agency or similar assignments is a plus.
