Schedule

This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts and varied start times between 8 AM and 12 PM, including holidays, weekends, and on-call rotation.

Job Description

The Ultrasonographer, under the direct supervision of the Medical Director and the Director of Radiology, is responsible for providing high-quality imaging studies for interpretation by the radiologist to aid in patient diagnosis. The Ultrasonographer will cover various procedures, including OB, abdominal, general, prostate biopsies, breast, and renal imaging, among others, using Phillips and GE equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging studies as directed.
• Ensure proper patient care while obtaining requested examinations.
• Adhere to the standards and protocols established by the Department of Radiology.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure effective communication and quality of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification: ARDMS.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Licensure to practice as an Ultrasonographer.
