Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) who is competent in phlebotomy and the placement of IVs. This position requires essential skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, as well as the use of Rapid Response Teams. Our team is equipped with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for additional support in vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Activate Rapid Response Teams as necessary.
• Administer peripheral line care and oxygen management.
• Ensure proper isolation precautions are followed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of recent RN experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
• New York RN license required in hand to submit.
