Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts (08:00 - 20:30), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a day shift position. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Float to other units as needed within the specialty, accommodating lower acuity patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support services including IV Teams and Rapid Response Teams.
• Administer medications and manage various medical equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
