Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, floating and call required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing general nursing care in a medical-surgical inpatient unit and may sometimes include care for non-critical pediatric patients. This position requires adherence to specific patient ratios and an understanding of MedHost EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Current RN license required.
