Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment within a 28-bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. Candidates must possess strong team-oriented skills to manage fast patient turnover effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency room setting.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle a variety of emergency situations with skill and professionalism.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Previous experience in an ER setting is preferred.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Please ensure you can meet this timeline before accepting the offer.
