Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Contract Position

Schedule

Nights - 3–12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will work in a fast-paced environment within a 28 bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavior health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. This position entails high patient turnover and requires a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Assess and triage patients effectively.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Previous experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
