Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position will involve caring for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and excellent patient care are priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in delivering babies and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Triage patients and participate in the decision-making process for care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other team members for effective patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license.
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications in Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP are required.
• Experience in mother/baby care preferred, with the ability to float as needed.
