Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a critical care setting. As part of our team, you will apply your clinical skills in respiratory and procedural care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Provide breathing treatments, set-up and care for chest tubes, and manage CPAP/BiPAP and ventilators.
• Perform procedure sedation and rapid sequence intubation as needed.
• Administer blood and blood products, and monitor central venous pressure (CVP).
• Provide tracheostomy care and manage vascular devices, including PICC and central lines.
• Support and float to the NICU and other units as required, with orientation provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required; NRP and CRRT certifications are preferred.
• Active compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
