Surgical Technologist - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 3 times a week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgeries, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation and monitoring during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current AHA BLS Certification is required.
• Preferred certifications: NBSTA or NCCT.
