Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Strike Assignment

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to work during a planned strike on September 15, 2026. This role requires attendance at mandatory onboarding scheduled for September 14, 2026. After the strike, standard rates will apply for any subsequent assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during the strike period.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient management.
• Document patient interactions and nursing interventions accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate professional accountability.

Schedule

This position represents a 12-hour shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for night shifts if needed on September 15-16, 2026.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Completion of required onboarding compliance items.
