Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality patient care and effectively monitor patients in a critical care setting. The nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient outcomes and deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions through telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient status updates and care provided using Meditech.
• Perform procedures such as TEE and cardioversion.
• Float to other units as needed following established floating policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active TX RN License (Temporary License not accepted).
• 2+ years of telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Must be accustomed to floating between units as required.
