3x12-Hour Shifts: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and other medical supplies in a Level I Trauma Center. This role requires experience in handling various types of cases, including Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, Transplant, and GYN.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper sterilization, decontamination, and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Utilize biological and chemical indicators to monitor sterile processes.
• Collect and process surgical instruments post-operation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing experience, specifically in a Level I Trauma environment.
• Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required.
• Travel experience preferred; local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
