3x12 Hour Shifts: 07:00 - 19:30, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments. This position requires the ability to work in a Level I Trauma Center and be adaptable to float between sister facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments.
• Assemble and wrap surgical trays.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the sterile processing area.
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role, with Level I Trauma experience required.
• National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required.
• No first-timers accepted.
