Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Mid Shift: 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (ER) specializing in adult care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in critical care nursing and be adept at managing high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care to patients in the ER setting, including trauma and emergency cases.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient responses.
• Perform critical assessments and document care provided using EPIC charting.
• Engage in emergency interventions for various urgent health situations.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency or critical care setting preferred.
• Proficient in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care protocols.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is essential.
